The teaching faculty at MMC is a congenial and talented group of anesthesiologists dedicated to excellence in residency training. We are fortunate to have the best and brightest, many who have chosen to leave 'big city' programs and settle in Maine for its outstanding quality of life and work at a hospital dedicated to the highest standard of patient care.

With nearly fifty anesthesiologists on staff working with residents, a wide variety of techniques and approaches to anesthestic management are taught. This allows our residents to find a style that suits them best and understand the reasoning behind each new viewpoint while developing confidence in their actions and practices.
